Hole Punching Crafting from CardKD
You may need to punch a hole on your cards for hanging or storage. It is very convenient for holders to carry after punching a hole on Discount cards, Preferential cards, Employee ID cards or Students ID cards, etc..
There are 3 kinds of holes, butterfly hole, ID hole and round hole. Round hole is usually applied on small die cut cards(size smaller than CR80), it becomes a hangtag or keytag after attaching a strap or clasp; And ID hole is usually applied on standard-size cards like CR80, CR90 or CR100, for tying lanyard to cards as Employee cards, Pass cards and more. While butterfly hole is mostly used to large die cut cards, putting on the display shelf, as cash cards / stored value cards to sell.
Detail for each type is as follows;
Butterfly hole: No fixed size, customers can request any size.
ID hole: Only standard size 3x15mm.
Round hole: 3mm, 4mm and 5mm sizes are available without plate cost, other sizes can be requested by customers but plate cost is needed.
